Complete Release (PDF) | NCAA Bracket | WNIT Bracket | Media Guide
• A Pac-12 team is headed to the NCAA Women’s Final Four for the 10th time in 12 years as Pac-12 regular-season champion OREGON heads to Tampa, Fla., for its first-ever national semifinal appearance. The Ducks are the fifth different Pac-12 squad to play in the Final Four since 2013. No other conference has sent as many teams to the Final Four during that span.
• The Pac-12 continues to have a strong showing in the postseason, posting a nation’s best 14 wins in the 2019 NCAA Tournament and a .737 winning percentage, also the best among Power 5 leagues. Since 2016, the Pac-12 has won more NCAA Tournament games (55) than any other conference, while boasting the best winning percentage in the Big Dance of any Power 5 conference (.705).
• ARIZONA is in the midst of a remarkable turnaround, recording its first 20-win season in eight years, improving by 15 wins. Averaging over 7,000 in attendance in its last two games, UA has advanced to the WNIT semifinal. The Wildcats are looking for their second-ever WNIT crown and first since 2011.
• Pac-12 women’s basketball is having another historic season, going 11-1 in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, the best record for a conference since 1997, going undefeated in the first round for the third time in four years. It placed five teams in the Sweet 16 for the second time in three years and is the only league to have at least two teams in the Elite Eight the last four years. For the third-straight year, half of the Pac-12 received NCAA Tournament bids.
• The Ducks (No. 2/Portland), OREGON STATE (No. 4/Albany) and STANFORD (No. 2/Chicago) each received top-16 seeding. They were joined by ARIZONA STATE (No. 5/Portland), CALIFORNIA (No. 8/Greensboro) and UCLA (No. 6/Albany). All six won their first-round matchup and five advanced to the Sweet 16, with UO and Stanford eventually moving on to the Elite Eight. The Pac-12 has had the most or tied for the most representation at every round except the opening round.
• Pac-12 regular-season champion Oregon equalled its best-ever seeding, and league tournament champion Stanford advanced to its 20th Elite Eight. OSU and UCLA made it to the Sweet 16 for the fourth year in a row, and ASU made its sixth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance, advancing to the round of 16. Cal won its tournament opener for the sixth time in eight years.
• A league-record eight Pac-12 teams have recorded 20-win campaigns, tied for the most for any conference. The Pac-12 is also one of two conferences with two 30-win teams.
• For the first time ever, five Pac-12 teams appeared in the Associated Press final poll, ranking the Cardinal and the Ducks at Nos. 6 and 7, respectively, extending the Conference’s streak of two top-10 ranked teams in the poll to five-consecutive years. OSU is No. 11, UCLA ends at No. 20 and ASU is No. 22. Five teams also appear in the current USA Today/WBCA Coaches poll.
