STANFORD, Calif. - All 16 eligible members of the Stanford women's swimming and diving team were named to the Pac-12 All-Academic teams, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Stanford led the league with six first-team honorees, which included junior
Megan Byrnes (management science and engineering), senior
Ella Eastin (human biology), sophomore
Brooke Forde (undeclared), junior
Erin Voss (computer science), senior
Kim Williams (psychology) and sophomore
Grace Zhao (computer science).
Junior
Allie Szekely (management science and engineering) and sophomore
Ashley Volpenhein (undeclared) were second team selections, while
Katie Drabot,
Haley Farnsworth,
Katie Glavinovich,
Hannah Kukurugya,
Mia Paulsen,
Lauren Pitzer,
Brooke Stenstrom and
Leah Stevens were honorable mention honorees.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and participate in at least half of their team's scheduled regular season events. Freshmen are not eligible.
