Women's Rowing | April 13, 2019
The No. 12 ranked USC women's rowing team hit the waters of Lake Natoma today (April 13) and competed against some strong national competition. In each race of the morning wave, USC placed second behind No. 6 Brown and beat Miami. In the afternoon wave, the Trojans placed second behind No. 3 Stanford and beat Tulsa.
"We had a good set of races against No. 6 Brown and Miami this morning," said head coach
Josh Adam. "As a team, we were much more accountable to our speed and the rhythm in our boats. The 1V4+ raced consistently and powerful. The 2V8+ raced an aggressive race plan and learned a lot about their speed. The 1V8+ had a tight race with Brown from start to finish. Unfortunately, we ended .66 on the wrong side. The women now know what they can do to improve."
