SEATTLE - Now ranked third in the nation, the Washington Huskies will hit the road for a week-long trip, playing five games in Utah. Washington's trip begins with four games in four days, taking on BYU Wednesday before a three-game series against Utah starts on Thursday. The trip will end with a Monday game against Utah Valley that wraps up non-conference play in the regular season.
Washington is carrying a 13-game win streak now, helped along by four consecutive Pac-12 series sweeps. The Huskies have swept Arizona State last week at home.
Last season, Washington swept Utah in Seattle, winning all three games.
Gabbie Plain threw a perfect game during that series, the first of her career. The Huskies have won their last four series against Utah and have lost only once in their last nine matchups. That loss came in game two of the 2017 Super Regionals before Washington advanced to the Women's College World Series.

 MORGANNE CANNE RAKE |
With three more home runs last weekend, Morganne Flores set a new career high, reaching the 15-homer mark for the first time in her career. Flores leads the conference with nine home runs in Pac-12 play and is one of only two players outside the Arizona schools to hit double-digits overall on the season already. Flores is the 12th Husky ever with a 15+ homer year: eight of those 12 have gone on to earn All-American honors. |

 LEADING THE PAC |
In addition to Morganne Flores leading the Pac-12 in conference play home runs, Washington also has the conference's leading hitter in Sis Bates. Bates has hit an even .500 in Pac-12 play, with 24 hits in 15 games. Washington's duo of Gabbie Plain and Taran Alvelo in the circle are first and second in the Pac-12 in strikeouts as well. Plain has 72 punchouts in Pac-12 play while Alvelo has 61: only one other Pac-12 pitcher has struck out 50 batters. |

 EXTRA BASE EXHIBITION |
Amirah Milloy has had ten of her last 12 hits go for extra bases, including a double and home run last weekend when she drove in a career-best five RBI against #23 Arizona State. Milloy has scored a run in each of the last seven games in which she has had a hit. Since recording just one extra-base hit in her first two seasons, Milloy has 22 the last two years, with 40% of her hits going for extras. |

 EIGHT IS GREAT |
Taran Alvelo is 11 strikeouts away from reaching the 800 mark in her career. That has only been accomplished by three other pitchers in Washington history: Danielle Lawrie, Jennifer Spediacci, and Ashley Boek. Alvelo would be the fourth active pitcher to reach 800 strikeouts as well. One more win for Alvelo would give her 95, tying her with Tia Bollinger for third in Husky history. |
