Buffs Wrap Up Regular Season Play At Oregon

BOULDER — The University of Colorado lacrosse team has one regular season game remaining, which is against Oregon in Eugene, Ore. on Friday, April 19. The Buffs will face off against the Ducks at 7 p.m. PT/8 p.m. MT.

ABOUT THE BUFFS: The Buffs are 8-6 overall and are 7-2 in Pac-12 Conference play. They are currently ranked 23rd in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll.
 
Senior Miranda Stinson leads the Pac-12 in goals (51) and is second in points (63). She is the leader in both categories in conference games played with 42 goals and 49 points. Nationally, she ranks 13th in goals and 26th in points. She is averaging the fourth best NCAA mark in shots per game (8.71), and is fifth in shots on goal per game (6.36).
 
Another senior, Samantha Nemirov, is second on the team with 37 goals, which ranks third in the conference. There are three other Buffs with at least 10 goals this season: Sadie Grozier (26), Charlie Rudy (17) and Sophie Castillo (15). Stinson is the team leader in draw controls with 45, while Kate Burnside is second (34) and Eliza Cahill is third (29).  
 
Julia Lisella has started in 13 games for the Buffs and has a 7-6 record on the year. She is allowing 9.27 goals against, which is 14th in the NCAA, and has a .489 save percentage, which is 18th in the NCAA. The Buffs have forced 149 opponent turnovers, which is second in the Pac-12, 24th in the NCAA. Stinson again leads the team with 20 caused turnovers, while Olivia Aschman is second with 17. Anna Collawn is third with 13.  
 
ABOUT THE DUCKS: Oregon is 3-13 this season, which includes a 1-8 mark in Pac-12 play. The Ducks conference win was a 12-8 decision against California on April 12 in Eugene.
 
Shannon Williams leads UO with 58 points this season and has 34 goals and 24 assists. Second on the team is Jamie Level, who has recorded 20 goals and five assists for 25 points. There are four other Ducks who had recorded at least four goals this season. Level leads UO with 47 draw controls, while Madeline Reece is second with 37.
 
Rachel Hall has played in all 16 games for the Ducks, recording 943:06 minutes. She has allowed 13.81 goals per game and has collected a .489 save percentage as she has made 215 saves while allowing 217 goals.  
 
THE SERIES: The Buffs have never lost a game to the Ducks, winning all nine meetings. Colorado took the first meeting of the season in Boulder, winning 15-6.  
 
UP NEXT: The Buffs will join the other five Pac-12 schools at the Pac-12 Tournament in Eugene, Ore., April 25-28. All games will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks.
