Ducks Welcome No. 23 Colorado for Senior Night

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon lacrosse team closes out its regular season against No. 23 Colorado at Pape Field on Friday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. The Ducks will also celebrate their four seniors – Madeline Reece, Julia Taylor, Mandi Trostle and Shannon Williams - during Senior Night.

GOLDEN GOALIE
Goalkeeper Rachel Hall has captured national attention with her performance in the net this season. The freshman leads the nation in saves 215 saves, with an astounding 40-saves margin between her and No. 2 VCU's Ria Peralta's 175 saves. She also leads the country with 13.44 saves per game through 16 games. Her .498 save percentage ranks No. 12 in the NCAA.
 
Hall's 215 saves register as Oregon's new program record for saves in a single season, surpassing Brittany Read's previous record of 179 saves last season. Hall also broke Oregon's single-game saves record for the second time this season with 20 stops against Ohio State on March 30, replacing her previous record of 19 saves at California on March 8. Oregon's previous single-game saves record holder was Anna Poponyak with 18 saves vs. Virginia Tech on April 11, 2009.
 
WILLIAMS ON THE ATTACK
Senior attacker Shannon Williams leads the Ducks offensively this season with 58 points on 34 goals and 24 assists. Williams' 24 assists lead the Pac-12, while her 58 points rank third in the conference. The senior captain also became Oregon's all-time leader in points and goals this season. Williams broke Shannon Propst's record for career points (219 points; 2011-14) with her 220th point at California on March 8 and broke Jana Drummond's record for career goals (146 goals; 2009-12) with her 147th goal vs. Southern California on March 17. She also holds UO's all-time program records in points per game (3.69), goals per game (2.32), set two single-season records with 74 points in 2018 and 4.24 points per game in 2017.
 
OFFENSIVE LEADERS
Midfielder Jamie Level and attacker Carlie Leach have made a significant impact to Oregon's offense in their first season. The freshmen duo has combined for 46 points and 38 goals this season to follow senior Shannon Williams as Oregon's second and third-highest scorers. Level has scored 25 points on 20 goals and five assists, while Leach has registered 21 points on 18 goals and three assists. Level leads Oregon on the draw this season with 47 draw controls that rank fifth in the Pac-12, while Leach's shot percentage of 54.5 percent stands at seventh in the conference.
 
Attacker Lillian Stump has also played an important role on the Ducks' offense with 20 points on 19 goals and one assist through 13 games. The sophomore has tallied three hat tricks just this month alone with five goals at Arizona State on April 5, two goals and one assist in Oregon's win over California on April 12 and three goals against Stanford on April 14.
 
DEFENSIVE LEADERS
Junior Gracyn Elliott and senior Madeline Reece have been key to Oregon's defense this season. Elliott leads the team with 32 ground balls, while Reece follows closely in second with 30 ground balls. The pair follow freshman Jamie Level in draw controls with Reece registering 37 draw controls and Elliott grabbing 31 draw controls. Reece also leads the Ducks with 15 caused turnovers. Elliott stands at seventh in the Pac-12 for ground balls, while Reece ranks eighth in ground balls, ninth in draw controls and 10th in caused turnovers.
 
DUCKS EARN FIRST PAC-12 WIN
Oregon recorded its first conference win this season with a 12-8 victory over California at Pape Field on April 12. Sophomore midfielder Claire Domshick led the way for Oregon with a hat trick, while freshman goalkeeper Rachel Hall shut down the Golden Bears with 12 saves. The Ducks have registered two other wins this season with a win in their season opener against Mercer on Feb. 9 and a victory over Jacksonville on Feb. 22.
