Cal claims Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week

PAC-12 BEACH VOLLEYBALL PAIR OF THE WEEK: 
Alexia Inman (SO/Manhattan Beach, Calif.)/Mia Merino (SR/Tustin, Calif.),
• Helped California to a top-7 and a top-20 win in their first time playing together all year.
• Playing on the No. 4 court, posted a straight-set win over then-No. 7 Cal Poly's duo, then followed up with a three-set victory over then-No. 20 Stanford's pair.
• It is the Bears' second victory over a top-10 opponent.
• Inman is a media studies major with a 3.18 GPA. Merino has a 3.22 GPA and is going to grad school next year at Bournemouth University in the U.K. to get her master's degree in public health. She also intends to continue playing volleyball on the University's indoor and beach volleyball teams.
• It is the second all-time pair of the week honor for Cal since the award's inception in 2016.
