Last Game
Joe Casey hit his third home run of the season and second in as many games but Oregon State lost 7-6 after Nevada scored twice in the ninth and once in the 10th on a Keaton Smith home run. Casey and Adley Rutschman both tallied two hits. Mitchell Verburg struck out a career-best seven.

Against WSU
Oregon State is 7-2-1 versus the Cougars over the last 10 matchups, and the Beavers have won seven of the last eight series between the teams. Oregon State has swept the past two series at Goss Stadium, in 2015 and 2017, and is 10-2 over the last 12 games played in Corvallis.

Joe Casey Note
Joe Casey has been swinging a hot bat over his last three games. The redshirt sophomore hit a home run in both games in Reno, and has multi-hit efforts in three straight. Over that stretch, he is 8-for-13 (.615) with three doubles, two home runs and five RBI.

Ober On A Seven-Gamer
Ryan Ober tallied an RBI single in Tuesday's game versus Nevada, extending his hit streak to seven games. He is 11-for-31 (.355) with two doubles, a home run and 10 RBI during the streak. He has hit safely in 14 of his last 16 games.

In Pac-12 Play
Oregon State (14-4) comes into the series a half game out of first place behind Stanford (13-2). The Beavers have won 13 of their last 14 Pac-12 games since starting league play with a 1-3 record.
