05/07/19 | Men's Tennis

EUGENE, Ore. - For a third-consecutive season, Thomas Laurent has earned a spot on the All-Pac-12 First Team as announced Tuesday morning by the league office. Overall, this marks the fourth all-conference selection of his career joining Lee Kirner (1991-94) as the only four-time all-conference performer in program history. Laurent was an honorable mention performer as a freshman.

This honor comes on the heels of last week's announcement of the 2019 NCAA Championships singles bracket which included Laurent for the third time.

Playing at the No. 1 spot, Laurent was 14-2 during the dual season and won nine of his last 10 matches of the regular season. Overall, he was 21-4 during the regular season with a 10-4 marks against ranked opponents.

Laurent was twice named the Pac-12 Player of the Week. One of those came in recognition of his 94th-career win (March 7) to become the program's all-time leader.

During the fall tournament season, Laurent was 7-2 which included a semifinal run to the ITA National Fall Championships. In addition to his standout play in singles, Laurent teamed with Joshua Charlton to win the ITA Northwest Regional doubles title in October. The Montpellier, France, native will end his Oregon career with 76 wins in doubles play. That marks ranks fourth in program history.
