COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Bruin alum Karsta Lowe has been named to the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League roster, as announced by the U.S. Women's National Team on Monday.

The FIVB Volleyball Nations League is the premier annual international volleyball tournament, as Team USA are the defending champions. The 16-country league includes 15 pool-play matches for each country spread over five consecutive weeks with four pods of four teams competing in round-robin action every week. The top five teams from the preliminary round will compete in the VNL Final Six along with host China from July 3-7 with the winner receiving $1 million.

The U.S. will host Korea on June 4, Germany on June 5 and Brazil on June 6 in Lincoln, Neb.

Lowe just finished up winning Italian Serie A1 gold, helping Imoco Volley Conegliano sweep its best-of-five championship series with Igor Novara Conegliano. The two teams will meet on May 18 in Berlin for the European Champions League trophy.
