Weber-Levine and Williams earn NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships

STANFORD, Calif. - A pair of Stanford student-athletes – Carly Weber-Levine and Kim Williams – earned NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships for their academic and athletic achievements.

Weber-Levine, a senior from East Setauket, New York, maintains a 4.037 GPA in engineering. She competed in women's sabre for the Stanford fencing team for the last four seasons and reached the NCAA Championships three times. Weber-Levine finished 22nd in 2016, 11th in 2017 and 19th in 2018. This year, she placed second at the NCAA West Regional. 

Williams was a six-time All-American and won three NCAA and Pac-12 team championships with the women's swimming and diving team at Stanford. A native of Bellevue, Washington, Williams maintains a 3.85 GPA as a psychology major and is a three-time Scholar All-American.

After graduation, Weber-Levine plans to stay at Stanford to complete a mater's degree in bioengineering and is hoping to start medical school in the Fall of 2020, while Williams has her sights set on law school. 

Stanford's overall total of NCAA postgraduate scholarship recipients is now 172.
