SAN FRANCISCO – USC beach volleyball junior Cammie Dorn (Laguna Beach, Calif.) was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic first team as announced by the Conference on Friday, May 17. Seniors Terese Cannon (Pittsford, N.Y.) and Alexandra Poletto (Toronto, Ontario), and sophomore Tina Graudina (Jurala, Latvia) were each chosen to the second team.

Additionally, sophomores Haley Hallgren (Southlake, Texas) and Sammy Slater (Ventura, Calif.) received honorable mention status.

Dorn receives her first-career selection to the conference all-academic squad. She holds the highest grade-point average among Women of Troy with a 3.73 in psychology. Dorn collected 15 wins this season. Cannon collected her third-career academic second-team nod. She was also an All-Pac-12 and AVCA All-America selection and won 24 matches in 2019. Cannon graduated with a master of accounting in May and had a 3.62 grade-point average.

A first-time choice, Poletto received her master of science in entrepreneurship and innovation with a 3.56 GPA. She was a Pac-12 All-Conference second-team choice and won 32 matches for the Trojans at the No. 3 position this season. Graudina also receives her first-career Pac-12 All-Academic recognition with a 3.64 GPA in French. She earned her second AVCA All-America certificate this season and was chosen as the Pac-12 Player of the Year. Graudina collected 33 wins at the top court in 2019.

A three-time national champion, USC finished as the NCAA runner-up in 2019 with a 32-6 overall record. The Trojans eclipsed the 30-win total for the third time and claimed the program's third Pac-12 Championship with a dramatic 3-2 win over crosstown rival UCLA. In her eighth year at the helm, head coach Anna Collier was chosen as the AVCA National Coach of the Year and the Pac-12 Coach of the Year. She became the first and only coach to cross the 200-career victory plateau and is 205-38 all-time at Troy. Abril Bustamante and Graudina were named the Pac-12 Pair of the Year with Graudina the Player of the Year. The duo was chosen for AVCA All-America honors alongside Cannon and Sammy Slater. The Women of Troy also held the distinction of having the highest term and cumulative grade-point average among all 21 of USC's varsity sports.
