FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas – No. 7 Stanford finished with a 30-over 906 in 54 holes of stroke play and currently sits as the No. 7 seed as play was suspended due to darkness on Monday night at Blessings Golf Club. There are six teams left on the course who will resume their round at 6:45 a.m. CT/4:45 a.m. PT on Tuesday morning at the NCAA Championships. 
 
Stanford is safely ahead of the cut line at +30. Illinois, the current No. 9 team, is finished at +41. The Cardinal is eight strokes ahead of No. 8 seed Auburn, who will finish their third round on Tuesday morning, but cannot move up past seven at this point.
 
Conditions were once against challenging on Monday and golfers experienced a weather delay of 75 minutes in the middle of the round.
 
Albane Valenzuela paced the Cardinal through stroke play. She shot an even-par 73 on Monday with three birdies and three bogeys. She finished at 1-over for the stroke play and is currently tied for sixth.
 
Freshman Aline Krauter was also even on Monday for the Cardinal. She played the front nine at 1-under par before bogeying No. 10 and recording pars on each of the last eight holes. She finished stroke play at 4-over and is tied for 11th.
 
Mika Liu shot 3-over through Monday's third round and currently stands tied for 54th at 13-over. Andrea Lee was also 13-over and is tied for 54th. Ziyi Wang finished 21-over and is tied for 97th.
 
Upon the conclusion of the third round, match play drawings will take place at 7:30 a.m. CT/5:30 a.m. PT before the quarterfinals begin at 8 a.m. CT/6 a.m. PT. The No. 2 vs. No. 7 match will tee off hole No. 1 at 8 a.m., with No. 3 vs. No. 6 going off No. 10. Following those pairings, No. 1 vs. No. 8 will go off hole No. 1 with No. 4 vs. No. 5 going off No. 10.
