SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 had 68 former men's basketball student-athletes on NBA opening day rosters entering the 2019-20 season, which tipped on Tuesday. The Conference is represented by each of its 12 members and on 28-of-30 NBA franchises.

The 68 former standouts are a reflection of the NBA's 17-player roster limit, which includes up to two 2-way contracts that allow flexibility between a franchise's parent and G-League affiliate. Ten former Pac-12 standouts signed two-way deals to give the league a total of 58 former student-athletes on full contract.

In comparing conference totals, the Pac-12 is third only to the ACC, which entered the NBA season with a total of 83 on rosters and 76 excluding two-way deals, and the SEC (70/59). However, the Pac-12 (5.7 per member) is ahead of all other leagues in terms of per-member average.

The Pac-12's six selections in the 2019 NBA Draft coupled with the 21 picks from the 2017 (14) and 2018 (seven) Drafts matched the Conference’s three-year record total of 27 from 2007-09. The Pac-12 has had 39 total Draft picks over the past five seasons, tied for the second-most of any league.
