Pac-12 announces men's swimmer and diver of the month
SAN FRANCISCO —The Conference office announced today that Alexei Sancov of USC was named Pac-12 Men's Swimmer of the Month and ARIZONA STATE's Youssef Selim was voted Pac-12 Men’s Diver of the Month for November.
MEN’S SWIMMER OF THE MONTH: Alexei Sancov, So., USC (Walnut Creek, Calif.)
Sancov (Walnut Creek, Calif.) broke two USC records last week while competing in the Art Adamson Invite at Texas A&M. The sophomore swimmer shattered a 13-year-old 200-yard butterfly record with his time of 1:42.20 two days after he also broke a 200 individual medley record in 1:43.92. Sancov also won the 200 free with an NCAA-leading time of 1:32.95, while ranking third nationally in the 200 fly and fourth in the 200 IM.

MEN’S DIVER OF THE MONTH: Youssef Selim, Sr., Arizona State (Cairo, Egypt)
Salim (Cairo, Egypt) went undefeated at the Trojan Invitational taking first in both the 1-meter springboard (367.73) and 3-meter (369.45) against USC. He also made it to the finals in both events he participated in at the Texas Diving Invitational, placing second in the 3-meter (424.95) and fifth on the platform (338.95). The senior previously won Pac-12 Diver of the Week in February 2018.
