Washington Earns Team Academic Award
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the fifth year in a row, the Washington Huskies earned the United Soccer Coaches' Team Academic Award for maintaining a team GPA over 3.0. This was the 11th time in the last 12 years and 19th time in program history Washington has earned the Team Academic Award.
Washington was one of 183 schools across all NCAA divisions to have both their men's and women's teams earn the award. 11 different Huskies earned their way onto the Dean's List this year for the academic excellence. Additionally, 11 Huskies earned Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll this season. In three of the last four years, Washington has had double-digit individual academic honorees.
As a team, Washington had a 3.46 GPA this year, including a 3.70 GPA during the spring term that was the highest GPA of any large women's team at Washington.
