Aaron Rodgers has nine touchdowns and no interceptions through the first three games of the 2020 season.

BERKELEY – Aaron Rodgers' brilliance was on full display in a 37-30 Sunday Night Football victory over New Orleans that highlighted Week 3 performances by former Cal football players who finished their collegiate careers at the school. Rodgers completed 21-of-32 passes for 283 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions for a 124.9 quarterback rating in the contest as Green Bay improved to 3-0 with the win.

Rodgers has helped the Packers put up 122 points in their first three games, which is the fifth-highest total in NFL history and Green Bay's highest ever. His nine touchdown passes are the second-most of his career thru three games behind the 10 he threw in a trio of contests to begin the 2015 campaign.

Rodgers is one of three Golden Bears on unbeaten 3-0 teams through the first three weeks of the 2020 season along with Tyson Alualu of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Mitchell Schwartz of the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. The Packers will put their unbeaten mark on the line in Week 4 on Monday Night at home against winless 0-3 Atlanta (5:15 pm PT, ESPN), while Pittsburgh travels to fellow unbeaten Tennessee (10 am PT, FOX) and Kansas City hosts a New England (1:25 pm PT, CBS) that has won two of its first three contests.

There are a total of seven 3-0 squads in the league with the others Buffalo, Chicago and Seattle.

Other notable Week 3 performances from former Cal players included Keenan Allen's 13 receptions for 132 yards and one touchdown catch in the Los Angeles Chargers' 21-16 home loss to Carolina. Allen moved into third place all-time on the Chargers' all-time reception list in the contest and now has 548 career receptions in his eighth NFL season all with the Chargers. Marvin Jones, who was a teammate of Allen's at Cal for two seasons in 2010 and 2011, had two key catches for 40 yards on Detroit's final drive that ended with a game-winning field goal on the last play of the contest in the Lions' 26-23 win at previously unbeaten Arizona. Jaylinn Hawkins made his first career NFL start in Atlanta's 30-26 home loss to Chicago and finished with three tackles, while Devante Downs had a career-high four tackles in his second career start in a 36-9 home loss to San Francisco.

A total of 30 former Cal football student-athletes who finished their collegiate careers with the Bears are currently affiliated with NFL teams including 19 on active 53-player NFL rosters, one on injured reserve, five on practice squads and five that are coaching in the league.
