Seven-Game 2020 Football Schedule Announced
SAN FRANCISCO – The UCLA football team begins the 2020 season Nov. 7 and visits defending Rose Bowl champion Oregon in its crossover game, the Pac-12 Conference announced Saturday.
The Bruins welcome divisional opponents Utah (Friday, Nov. 13), Arizona (Nov. 28) and crosstown rival USC (Dec. 12) to Spieker Field at the Rose Bowl and travel to face Colorado (Nov. 7), Oregon (Friday, Nov. 20) and Arizona State (Dec. 5). A seventh game against a conference opponent will be played Dec. 18 or 19. Times and television details for all games will be announced in the future.
UCLA opens the season at Colorado. The Bruins hold an 11-4 overall record against the Buffaloes and have won seven of the last nine meetings between the programs. A short week will follow and culminate in UCLA's home opener versus defending Pac-12 South champion Utah.
The Bruins, who did not face the Ducks in 2019, travel to Eugene, Ore. for their second of back-to-back Friday contests. The home team has won the last two get-togethers, including a 42-21 result at Autzen Stadium in 2018. UCLA then returns home to face an Arizona program against which it has earned four consecutive home wins and six victories in its last eight tries overall. The Bruins' final road game of the six-game slate comes at Arizona State. The programs have split the last six results in the series.
The 90th showdown between UCLA and USC will happen at the Rose Bowl, where the Bruins have come out on top in three of the last four chapters.
The 2020 Pac-12 Football Championship Game will be played Friday, Dec. 18. The remaining teams will square off against each other Dec. 19.
No fans will be permitted at any game taking place on Pac-12 campuses or in the Rose Bowl.
