UW's Latest 2020 Football Schedule Packed With Rivalry Games

The latest version of the 2020 Pac-12 football schedule is out, and the Huskies' seven-game slate has been revealed.
 
In the abbreviated, conference-only schedule, Washington will play home games vs. Oregon State, Stanford and Arizona; and road games against California, Oregon and Washington State. The Pac-12 had previously revealed that each team would play all of its division opponents, as well as one team from the opposite division, with each team playing three home and three road games. All games will be played in accordance the Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee health and safety guidelines
  
The schedule will also include an additional, inter-divisional game on the weekend of Dec. 18-19. The two division leaders will face off (on the campus of one of those two teams) in the Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday, Dec. 18, while the remaining 10 teams will be paired up for games on Saturday, Dec. 19, in a method yet to be determined. All of those games will played at the home of one of the two participating teams.
 
The Huskies open the 2020 season on Saturday, Nov. 7, with a trip to Berkeley to face California. The Dawgs return to Seattle and Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium for back-to-back Saturday home games, vs. Oregon State on Nov. 14 and vs. Arizona on Nov. 21.
 
The Boeing Apple Cup vs. Washington State in Pullman is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 27, when all three Northern Division traditional rivalry games will be contested. The following Saturday, Dec. 5, Washington plays host to Stanford. The regular season wraps up Dec. 12, when the Huskies travel south to face Oregon.
 
The Huskies' seventh game will come on Dec. 18 or 19.

Every game through the first six weeks of the season will be televised nationally by a combination of ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, Fox and FS1. Fox will televise the Football Championship game on Friday, December 18. Exact broadcast schedules will be determined at a later date. 
 
Radio coverage of the 2020 Husky Football team along the Washington Sports Network from Learfield IMG College is already underway. The Jimmy Lake Show is a one-hour weekly show featuring the Huskies' head coach, airing live on Wednesday nights from 6-7 p.m. PT. Additionally, Tony Castricone and Damon Huard are hosting Husky Football Saturdays live from Husky Stadium from 8-11 a.m. each Saturday morning until the season begins. On game day, live coverage begins four hours before kickoff with Husky Gameday hosted by Dave 'Softy' Mahler, Dick Baird and others. Castricone, Huard and Elise Woodward will call the play-by-play of the games.
