2020 #USCtotheNFL Week 5 Recap

Oct 13, 2020

The injury bug has hit the Trojans pretty hard, but many of those who did play in Week 5 of the NFL season shined.

Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones II kicked things off on Thursday Night Football with 106 rush yards and 19 receiving yards. It was his second straight 100+ yard performance, giving him back-to-back 100-yard games for the first time in his young career.

They call USC 'Wide Receiver U' and this weekend's games proved once again that we're deserving of the moniker. Rams WR Robert Woods had 4 catches for 71 yards and a touchdown, while Raiders WR Nelson Agholor had 2 catches for 67 yards and a touchdown.

Offensive lineman Jordan Simmons got the start at left guard for the undefeated Seahawks, and was widely praised for his performance.

On the other side of the ball, Chargers LB Uchenna Nwosu made plays (3 tackles, 2 QB hits and a sack) before an injury forced him out of Monday's game.
