TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona senior Josh McCauley has been named to the 2020 Fall Watch List for the Rimington Trophy, which honors the top center in college football. McCauley was a member of the distinguished watch list last season as a junior as he started all 10 games he appeared in at center for the Wildcats.

The Mesa, Arizona native has amassed 22 starts coming into the 2020 season with 25 career appearances. McCauley has anchored an offensive line that has guided one of the top rushing attacks in the Pac-12 in each of the last two seasons as Arizona has finished in the top three of the conference in rushing in each of those seasons. The Wildcats have also eclipsed 2,000 yards rushing in each of McCauley's two seasons as the team's center.

Arizona's everyday starting center joined the program as a walk-on and was awarded a scholarship by head coach Kevin Sumlin on the day of the 2019 Spring Game.

The Wildcats will open the 2020 season on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Utah as part of its seven conference-only game slate. Arizona began Fall camp on Friday, Oct. 9 in preparation for the season.
