Pac-12 Announces Men's Basketball Weekly Pairings

Oct 29, 2020

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Pac-12 Conference has released the weekly matchups and site designations for the league's new 20-game 2020-21 men's basketball schedule. Additionally, several previously announced December game dates have been adjusted to allow for flexibility in non-conference scheduling.

The announcement reflects the games being played and the home/away designations each week of the Pac-12 regular season. Specific dates and times for each game within a week will be announced after selections by the league's television partners are finalized. All 120 Conference games will be televised by either Pac-12 Network, ESPN/2/U, FOX/FS1 or CBS.

Washington State opens conference play on Dec. 2 at home when the Cougars face off against Oregon State in the first Pac-12 game of the season for the conference. Three days later the Cougs hit the road for the first time on the year as they head to take on Colorado at Boulder on Dec. 5.

After returning to non-conference play for the remainder of the month the Cougs stay home after the holidays with the Arizona schools coming to town the week of Dec. 30 - Jan. 3. A two-week road trip ensues as WSU heads to California to take on Cal and Stanford (Jan. 6 - 10) and south to UCLA and USC (Jan. 13 - 17). Back in Beasley the Cougs face off against Colorado for the second time while taking on Utah for the lone time on the year the week of Jan. 20 - 24. January ends with a trip to Seattle for the first of two Boeing Apple Cup Series matchups with the Huskies (Jan. 27 - 31), a series the Cougs swept in 2019-20.

February keeps the Cougs west as WSU faces off against Oregon the lone matchup of the year between the two squads while a trip to Corvallis to face the Beavers marks the second matchup of the year the week of Feb. 3 - 7. With return trips beginning, the California schools come to Pullman with UCLA and USC the week of Feb. 10 - 14 and Cal and Stanford entering Beasley the week of Feb. 17 - 21. A final road tip sends WSU to Arizona and Arizona State (Feb. 24 - 28) while the regular season closes with the second half of the Boeing Apple Cup Series at home against Washington (Mar. 6 - 7).

The Pac-12 Tournament is scheduled to be played at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas from March 10-13.
