UCLA Launches Virtual Blue Out Campaign

UCLA Athletics today introduced its Virtual Blue Out campaign, presented by Wescom, for the Dec. 12, 2020 UCLA Football game vs. USC. With home football games being without in-person spectators this season, the first-ever Virtual Blue Out will give UCLA fans an opportunity to rally around the team in spirit by purchasing a virtual seat, row or section at the Rose Bowl for the annual rivalry game. Ticket purchasers will receive a commemorative paper ticket and have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes and experiences, in addition to other exclusive benefits.

Proceeds from the Virtual Blue Out presented by Wescom will benefit UCLA's nearly 700 student-athletes. Additionally, 5% of the proceeds will be donated to UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, providing unrestricted support for the highest priority clinical programs and research that benefit children in Los Angeles and around the world.

"There's no question that this year's football season will look and feel unlike any other," said UCLA's Alice and Nahum Lainer Family Director of Athletics Martin Jarmond. "While we will miss the presence and support of our Bruin family at the Rose Bowl, we are excited to give our fans the chance to be part of our rivalry game while supporting our student-athletes and benefitting a worthy cause in the Mattel Children's Hospital."

UCLA fans can choose from multiple ticket packages, with unique benefits available for each level. With options starting as low as $25, fans can receive a commemorative ticket, an exclusive phone background, and entry into one of the many Game Day Sweepstakes prizes.

Tickets for the Virtual Blue Out are on sale now and will be available until kickoff on December 12. In the event the football game is not played, all applicable benefits will be fulfilled, but refunds will not be provided.
