USC Launches 'Trojan Tailgate Show' For Football Games
In an effort to bring Trojan fans closer to the action this season, USC has launched the Trojan Tailgate Show presented by Ralph's.
Hosts Jordan Moore, Shaun Cody and Max Browne will be live from inside the Coliseum to provide fans with game-day analysis, special guest interviews and live look-ins at team warmups. The show will be live streamed on the USC Trojans Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages starting two hours before kickoff each week. It will also air live on 790AM KABC, stream (audio only) on KABC.com and stream on Tune In (audio only).
The Trojan Tailgate Show will also include performances from the beloved Trojan Marching Band, Song Girls and Spirit Leaders.
Fans can participate in a virtual tailgate contest during each Trojan Tailgate Show by sharing photos on social media of their virtual or socially-distanced tailgates, using the #TrojanTailgate hashtag. Fans displaying the most Trojan spirit will win prizes from USC Athletics.
Fans also can take photos of themselves exhibiting Trojan spirit or supporting their favorite USC player, and post them on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #USCSelfie. The photos will be featured on the Trojan Tailgate Show and on the Coliseum video boards during the games.
The Trojan Tailgate Show will allow Trojan fans to come together virtually in a safe manner. In doing so, USC Athletics recommends that fans follow local health and safety guidelines. Tailgating at the Coliseum, on the USC campus or in University parking lots is not permitted.
"This atypical season has presented us with many challenges, but we are excited to bring this new and expanded content to USC alumni, fans and partners," said Drew DeHart, USC Sports Properties vice president/general manager. "Connecting with the remote fan has never been more critical than in 2020."
Catch the first Trojan Tailgate Show on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7 am PT!
