CORVALLIS, Ore.  How Oregon State players in the NFL fared in week nine's action.
 
Josh Andrews, New York Jets – Andrews played as a reserve and saw action on five plays in New York's 30-27 loss to New England on Monday night.
 
Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans – Cooks was targeted nine times and made three catches for 83 yards, including a 57-yard TD reception, in Houston's 27-25 win over Jacksonville on Sunday.
 
Johnny Hekker, Los Angeles Rams – Hekker and the Rams had a bye.
 
Jake Luton, Jacksonville Jaguars – Luton made his NFL in a start versus Houston. He was 26-of-38 for 304 yards and a 73-yard touchdown pass in a 27-25 loss to Houston on Sunday. He's the first player since at least 1950 to record 300-plus pass yards, 25-plus completions and one or more rushing TDs in their first career start.
 
Sean Mannion, Minnesota Vikings – Mannion did not play in Minnesota's 24-10 win over Detroit on Sunday.
 
Ryan Nall, Chicago Bears – Nall was targeted four times and made four catches for 35 yards and a 6-yard score in Chicago's 24-17 loss to Tennessee on Sunday.
 
Steven Nelson, Pittsburgh Steelers – Nelson started at cornerback and made two tackles in Pittsburgh's 24-19 win over Dallas on Sunday. The Steelers improved to 8-0 with the win.
 
Artavis Pierce, Chicago Bears – Pierce played as a reserve in Chicago's 24-17 loss to Tennessee on Sunday.
 
Jordan Poyer, Buffalo Bills – Poyer started and made 10 tackles with an interception, pass deflection and a quarterback hurry in Buffalo's 44-34 win over Seattle Sunday. The Bills improved to 7-2 this season.
 
Mike Remmers, Kansas City Chiefs – Remmers started at right tackle and saw action on 54 plays in Kansas City's 33-31 win over Carolina on Sunday. The Chiefs improved to 8-1 this season.
 
Noah Togiai, Indianapolis Colts – Togiai did not play in the Colts' 24-10 loss to Baltimore on Sunday.
