Arizona Softball Inks Four on National Signing Day

Nov 11, 2020

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona Softball has signed four of the top prep players in the country to its 2022 roster, the team announced on Wednesday.

Paige Dimler, an outfielder from Santa Clarita, California, Madi Elish, a pitcher from Crown Point, Indiana, Allie Enright, an outfielder from Santa Clarita, California, and Amber Toven, an infielder from Northridge, California, all submitted National Letters of Intent to play collegiately for Arizona. The four are all ranked in the top 110 in the country by Extra Inning Softball and received top-100 rankings from other outlets as well.

"This class will be a great addition to our solid group of underclassmen presently at Arizona," said head coach Mike Candrea. "It will give us added depth in the circle, outfield and middle infield. All of these young ladies are high character individuals, passionate players, and will be a great addition to our very good team culture. All of these players should benefit from our training program and will continue to grow into their roles at Arizona. We are very excited about what they bring to the Arizona softball program. This group has had some challenges this past year with the pandemic limiting their playing time but should be ready to make solid contributions when they arrive on our campus."
