  • With it's 34-10 loss, Cal saw its six-game season-opener win streak come to an end.
  • Cal is 3-5 in season openers when starting with a conference game. Before today, the last time Cal began with a Pac-12 game was in 1993 when the Bears defeated UCLA, 27-25, in the Rose Bowl.
  • Craig Woodson blocked UCLA's opening punt - Cal's first blocked punt since Hamilton Anoa'i at Oregon on Nov. 7, 2015.
  • Dario Longhetto made his first career field goal, a 31-yarder on Cal's first drive to give the Bears a 3-0 lead.
  • Camryn Bynum picked off his sixth career interception in the first quarter. He is now in sole possession of fifth place at Cal with 28 career passes defended.
  • Collin Moore had a career-long 26-yard reception.
  • Chase Garbers' 8-yard TD run in the second quarter was his sixth career rushing touchdown and marked his fourth consecutive game running for a score.
  • Daniel Scott finished with a career-high 11 tackles. His previous best was 4 tackles at UCLA in 2019.
  • JH Tevis also had a career-best tackle total with 10 stops. He had 3 at Utah last season.
  • Evan Tatersall had a career-high 7 tackles. He had 3 twice previously, most recently vs. UCLA in 2018.
  • Christopher Brown Jr.'s 4 receptions tied a career best.
