Felton Repeats as UCLA Student-Athlete of Week
Redshirt senior running back Demetric Felton of the UCLA football team repeats as the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, earning honors for Nov. 23-29.
For the second week in a row, Felton had a career game leading the UCLA rushing attack. The Temecula, Calif. native carried the ball 32 times for a career-high 206 yards, becoming the first Bruin to eclipse the 200-yard mark since Joshua Kelley accomplished the feat in 2018. He reached the end zone on a second-quarter run and added a team-high four receptions for 24 yards in UCLA's 27-10 home win over Arizona. Felton has been the catalyst for a rushing offense that has accumulated more than 200 yards in each of its last three games and ranks second in the Pac-12 and 11th nationally with a 241.8 yards-per-game average. Individually, his 134.2 rushing yards per game are third in the conference and eighth overall.
This is Felton's second UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and of his career.
