Cal-Arizona State Postgame Notes

Grant Anticevich scored eight points and added seven rebounds in Thursday's loss to No. 25 Arizona State.
  • Cal starters: Makale Foreman, Matt Bradley, Ryan Betley, Grant Anticevich, Andre Kelly
  • Matt Bradley led Cal with 20 points and eight rebounds (four offensive). It was the third time this season and 14th time in Bradley's career that he's scored 20 or more in a game.
  • The Bears out-rebounded Arizona State, 36-27, and hauled in 11 offensive rebounds. They converted 13 second-chance points.
  • Six of Cal's seven made 3-pointers came during the first half.
  • Makale Foreman dished out a team-high three assists. He's led the Bears in assists in all three games he's started.
  • Cal moved to 13-6 on its home court under head coach Mark Fox.
  • Ryan Betley (10 points) scored in double figures for the second time this season.
  • Three Bears moved closer to reaching 1,000 career points. Ryan Betley scored 10 points to give him 983 and Makale Forman totaled nine points to reach 973 while Matt Bradley's 20-point effort gives him 971.
