- Junior Matt Bradley became the 48th player in program history to join the 1,000-Point Club as he netted a career-high 27 points on 9-19 shooting. Bradley entered the game needing 17 points to reach the career milestone and hit the mark with 8:25 remaining in the contest.
- Grant Anticevich scored 21 points on 8-14 shooting and added a team-leading eight rebounds. His 21 points were two shy of a career high (23 vs. California Baptist on Nov. 15, 2019).
- Graduate transfers Ryan Betley and Makale Foreman remain within striking distance of 1,000 career points as well. Betley (999) needs one point while Foreman (991) needs nine; both players scored four points apiece on Wednesday.
- After missing two games due to injury, freshman Monty Bowser returned to the court Wednesday and logged six minutes.
- Joel Brown tallied four assists and four steals in his third start of the season.
- Grant Anticevich and Matt Bradley both grabbed their 300th career rebounds Wednesday.
- Cal fell to 3-1 all-time against Pepperdine.
- The Bears are 2-2 against non-conference opponents this season.
