  • Cal starters: Makale Foreman, Joel Brown, Matt Bradley, Ryan Betley, Grant Anticevich
  • Makale Foreman's game-winning 3-pointer was his only made field goal of the game.
  • Cal did not hold a lead in Sunday's game until Foreman's game-winner as time expired.
  • The Bears improved to 8-1 against non-conference opponents at Haas Pavilion under Mark Fox.
  • Cal is 14-6 in home games since the start of the 2019-20 season.
  • Ryan Betley surpassed 1,000 career points with his 7-point effort on Sunday. He is the second Cal player to reach 1,000 career points in as many games, joining Matt Bradley, who accomplished the feat on Dec. 9 at Pepperdine.
  • Andre Kelly's 22 points were a team-best and a season-high. He shot 7-10 from the field.
  • Grant Anticevich's 18 points marked his second straight game of scoring in double figures. He scored 14 of his 18 in the first half.
  • Anticevich and Kelly powered Cal through the first half, scoring 26 of the team's 29 points on 10-14 shooting.
  • Matt Bradley was third in scoring on the team with 17 points on 7-14 shooting from the field.
  • The win was Cal's first over San Francisco since November 18, 2008 when the Bears won, 87-74, in Berkeley under Mike Montgomery.
  • Cal had its fewest turnovers of the season (7) on Sunday. It is their fewest turnovers committed since Jan. 26, 2020 vs. Stanford.
