Bakersfield on the Boardwalk

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford men's basketball has added a second game in Santa Cruz, welcoming Cal State Bakersfield on Monday, Dec. 21. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m., and will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks.

The Cardinal (3-2), temporarily relocating and training through Dec. 21, opened its season with an appearance in the Camping World Maui Invitational, including an 82-64 win over No. RV/25 Alabama in the opening round. The Cardinal was slated to open Pac-12 play last Sunday, but its contest with USC was postponed. The team did add a game with Cal State Northridge Tuesday, earning an 82-71 victory.

Stanford is 2-0 against the Roadrunners in the series history. The Cardinal came away with the win in the last meeting, 85-50, on Feb. 10, 2009 at Maples Pavilion.
