David Puig Competing and Armen Kirakossian Coaching at 2020 Palmer Cup
Sun Devil David Puig is set to participate in the rescheduled 2020 Palmer Cup for the international squad December 21-23 at Bay Hill Club in Orlando, while associate head coach Armen Kirakossian -- named the top assistant in the nation in 2081-19 -- is on the coaching staff for the United States squad.
Puig and Ingrid Lindblad (International) will take on Jonathan Brightwell/Kenzie Wright (United States) at 10 a.m. ET.
The duo was originally scheduled to compete in the Palmer Cup at Lahinch Golf Club in Lahinch, Ireland from July 3-5, but the event was postponed.

Puig, who is ranked No. 35 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, joined the Sun Devil squad in January of 2020 and played in four tournaments. He becomes the ninth Sun Devil selected to the event. He tied for 10th at the 2020 Cabo Collegiate that included rounds of 69 and 68 to close at 3-under 210 which helped ASU capture its third tournament of the season.
