Berkeley Bound

Dec 23, 2020
Cal inked nine future baseball student-athletes in mid-November. The class will join Cal in fall 2021.

BERKELEY – Nine future Golden Bears signed their National Letters of Intent in mid-November and will join the California baseball program in the fall of 2021, ahead of the 2022 season.

The nine-man group is Cal head coach Mike Neu's fourth signing class since taking over the program's helm in 2017. Eight of the nine signees hail from California, along with one from Hawaii.

"We're thrilled to welcome these young men into our program, not only because of their talent on the baseball field, but because of their high character," Neu said. "Our coaching staff believes these guys can make a positive impact on our program in a variety of ways. We can't wait to have them on campus for years to come."
