Four Bruins Earn AP All-Pac-12 Honors

Dec 25, 2020
Demetric Felton Jr. (10) was named to the AP All-Pac-12 first and second teams Friday.

UCLA football redshirt senior defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa and redshirt senior running back and return man Demetric Felton Jr. headline a list of four Bruins on the Associated Press 2020 All-Conference Team, announced Friday.

Odighizuwa (defensive tackle) and Felton (all-purpose) earned spots on the first team, while redshirt sophomore tight end Greg Dulcich and redshirt junior linebacker Caleb Johnson were chosen to the second team. Felton was also named to the second team as a running back.

Odighizuwa totaled 30 tackles, including 6.0 behind the line of scrimmage. His 4.0 sacks during the shortened season represent a career high and rank fifth in the conference. Odighizuwa registered at least five stops in four games. In UCLA's Nov. 15 defeat of California, he collected five tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks as the Golden Bears recorded just 176 yards of total offense.

Felton averaged 165.8 all-purpose yards per game, ranking second in the conference. At Oregon on Nov. 21, he rushed a league-high 34 times for 167 yards and two touchdowns while returning five kickoffs for 105 yards. The next week, Felton carried the ball 32 times for a career-high 206 yards and one score in a home win over Arizona. In six games, he totaled 132 rushes for 668 yards and five touchdowns and added 22 catches for 159 yards and three scores.

Dulcich, who totaled eight receptions for 111 yards and one touchdown in his first two seasons, enjoyed a breakout campaign. He hauled in 26 passes for team highs of 517 yards and five scores. Dulcich turned in 167- and 126-yard performances, while no other Pac-12 tight end eclipsed 108 yards in a single game. His 73.9 receiving yards per game are tops in the league at the position.

Johnson accumulated a team-high 44 tackles, while his 5.5 sacks led UCLA and rank second in the Pac-12. He twice reached double digits in tackles, collected his first interception versus Cal and recovered a fumble at Arizona State (Dec. 5).
