THE GAME: Oregon State (4-3, 0-1 Pac-12) closes out 2020 with a Pac-12 game against Stanford (5-2, 1-0) at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Gill Coliseum.

Ethan Thompson passed Scott Haskin and moved into 14th on Oregon State's career scoring list with 1,320 points ... The Beavers are 4-1 when Zach Reichle scores in double figures; 0-2 when he doesn't score 10-plus points ... Warith Alatishe has two double-doubles and has grabbed double-figure rebounds in four of the seven games ... Dearon Tucker has gone 16-for-22 from the free throw line in the seven games this season; he went 2-for-4 from the stripe in the 17 games he played in last season ... Rodrigue Andela made a layup with 24 seconds left against Portland State for the game-winning points.
 
vs. STANFORD: Oregon State and Stanford are meeting for the 148th time with the Beavers holding a 75-72 advantage, including a 39-29 edge in games played in Corvallis.
 
The Beavers swept the series last season, their first sweep of the Cardinal since 2008-09. Oregon State won the first meeting, 68-63, on Jan. 30 in Stanford to snap a four-game losing streak in the series. Jarod Lucas came off the bench to score a career-high 21 points. Oscar da Silva led the Cardinal with 22 points. The Beavers capped the sweep with a 68-65 win on March 5 in Corvallis. Tres Tinkle scored 23 points and passed Gary Payton as Oregon State's all-time leading scorer in the game. Bryce Wills led Stanford with 16 points.
