No. 11 @ASUWrestling Releases Full 2021 Schedule
TEMPE - No. 11 Arizona State Wrestling announced the Sun Devils' 2021 schedule Monday, a slate that features eight total events and a pair of home duals vs. Cal POLY and Cal State Bakersfield.
"It's finally here, the wrestling season is about to begin and we're excited to compete," head coach Zeke Jones said. "It's been a long training phase and the team is anxious to face someone else on the mat besides ourselves. Competing will give us a chance to find out where we're at."

After beginning the season 1-0 with a victory over Pac-12 opponent Little Rock, Jones' team will depart for the road with four straight weeks of away matches beginning in Norman, Okla., against No. 20 Oklahoma. ASU is 14-29-1 all-time vs. the Sooners and last faced Oklahoma in January 2019 when the teams split a pair of duals at the Virginia Duals. The last time the Sun Devils went to Norman they were defeated by Oklahoma 33-7 in 2012. The dual against the Sooners will be aired on Fox Sports Arizona PLUS this Friday, January 8th at 6 p.m. (MST).
The Sun Devils will then head north to Ames, Iowa for a quad meet with Iowa State, Northern Iowa and Missouri on Jan. 17. ASU has a combined 19-31-1 all-time versus opponents it will face in Ames.
Their road trip will continue in Orem, Utah for a Jan. 23 tri-dual with Utah Valley and Wyoming. This is the first time in 22 years that ASU has stepped on the mat against the Cowboys.

"Having a couple of top 10 teams on the schedule like Iowa State and Missouri is always exciting. We're ready to compete against a tough team like Northern Iowa who is always well prepared," Jones said. "After a few more non-conference duals we will round it out against our Pac-12 foes."
In the final four matches of the season, the Sun Devils will finish off against their fellow Pac-12 opponents beginning with Stanford on Jan. 28 and Oregon State on Jan. 30.
The Pac-12 Championship returns to Corvallis on Feb. 27, followed by the 2021 NCAA Wrestling Championships in St. Louis, Mo., on March 18-20.
All times for duals will be determined closer to the competitions and the 2021 schedule is subject to change.
