Week Three
• Oregon State heads back on the road for two more duals when the Beavers visit the Mott Athletics Center in San Luis Obispo, Calif. to take on California Baptist (10 a.m.) and host Cal Poly (12 p.m.).
• OSU is meeting California Baptist for the third time in program history. The teams first met in Feb. 2019 when the Beavers won 33-7 and took the second meeting last season, 28-6.
• The Beavers are meeting Cal Poly for the 58th time, while holding a 44-11-2 advantage over the Mustangs. OSU has won the last nine duals, including a 24-15 victory last year.

Pendleton's First Career Win
• Head coach Chris Pendleton earned his first career win after the Beavers topped Little Rock, 33-9, in Stillwater on Jan. 10.

Shaner Shines in Debut
• Jason Shaner went 2-0 in Stillwater in his Beaver debut.
• The redshirt junior opened his day with a 16-8 major decision, his first career dual win, and took his second dual with a 6-4 decision.
• He comes to OSU after posting a 57-7 record at Clackamas Community College in two seasons.

Kaylor and Willits Brothers off to Strong Starts
• No. 25 Brandon Kaylor, No. 19 Hunter Willits, and No. 18 Grant Willits are all 4-2 through the first two weeks of the season.
• Kaylor has won two duals by way of decision, a major decision, and a forfeit win. He opened the 2020-21 season with a 9-6 decision over Ryan Henningson (NDSU) and a 9-5 decision against No. 27 Danny Vega (SDSU). He went on to claim an 11-3 major decision over Khyler Brewer (Little Rock) and a forfeit win against Chattanooga at the Oklahoma State Quadrangular.
• Hunter Willits went 3-0 in Stillwater with two technical falls (James Aziere (UALR); 18-3 and Daniel Manibog (OKST); 16-0) and capped the weekend off with his first pin of the season at 2:05 over Chattanooga's Weston Wichman.
• Grant Willits went 2-1 in last week's quadrangular in Stillwater with an 11-0 major decision over Little Rock's Conner Ward and a forfeit win against Chattanooga. He narrowly fell to No. 8 Kaid Brock of Oklahoma State in an 8-4 decision.
