UW (1-9, 0-5 P12) at USC (9-2, 3-1 P12)
UW returns to California this week as it takes on USC on Thursday, Jan. 14 at the Galen Center at 6:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks with J.B. Long and Don MacLean on the call. Additionally, fans can tune into KJR 950AM to hear Tony Castricone and Jason Hamilton on the official Husky Radio Broadcast. The series is tied between the two programs at 75-75 with Washington last winning in the Galen Center on Dec. 29, 2017. Hopkins is 4-1 against USC since becoming the head coach at UW and 1-1 when playing in California.

Head Coach Mike Hopkins is in his fourth year at Washington, and fourth as a head coach after becoming the 19th head coach in UW history. During his 22 years as an assistant at Syracuse, Hopkins was a part of teams that reached the NCAA Tournament 16 times including the 2003 National Championship, four Final Fours, five Elite Eights and 10 Sweet 16s along with four NIT berths. Syracuse never dipped below a 55.0 percent record while Hopkins was on staff. Hopkins is a two-time Pac-12 Coach of the Year, winning the honor in each of his first two seasons with the Huskies as he led UW to back-to-back 20 win seasons with postseason appearances each year. Quick Hitters
• Over the Bay Area swing, junior Jamal Bey led the team averaging 16.5 points per game on 55.0 percent shooting from the field
• Washington's offense picked up over the two road games, averaging 76.5 points with four players averaging double figures (Bey, 16.5; Green, 15.5; Stevenson, 13.5; Tsohonis, 13.0) ... the Huskies also shot 42.5 percent from the field, 35.4 percent from the 3-point line and 81.0 from the charity stripe.
• UW has three players now that have recorded 20-point efforts in Green, Stevenson and Tsohonis.
• Stevenson, who was the second-leading scorer at Wichita State a year ago, had a career-night against Cal, scoring 27 points, a high for any UW player this season and knocked down 6 from long distance ... he is the first player since Dominic Green on Nov. 27, 2018 (7-10) to hit that many from 3
• In his first start of the season, sophomore Marcus Tsohonis recorded a career-high 24 points against Stanford ... it was Tsohonis' ninth double-digit scoring game of his career and his second-straight after scoring 14 against Colorado
• Washington had three players reach 15 points for the second-straight game against California in Stevenson (27), Bey (18) and Green (16)
• UW recorded a season-high 12 steals at Stanford, the first double-digit steal night for the Huskies this season
• UW is currently fifth in the Pac-12 in blocks averaging 4.2 per game and fifth in steals (7.20spg).
• Quade Green has recorded three 20-point scoring efforts this season with his most recent coming against Arizona as he posted 23 points ... the last player with three 20-point games in the first 10 outings of the season was Noah Dickerson in 2018-19
• With his four assists against California, Quade Green now has 112 career assists at UW in just 25 games ... averaging 4.5 a game while being a Husky
• Washington had a season-low nine turnovers against Colorado, marking their fewest in a game since eight against Oregon State on Jan. 16, 2020 at home.
• Redshirt sophomore Nate Roberts is currently sixth in the Pac-12 in rebounding pulling down 7.3 per game
• Wright currently has 117 career blocks which is sixth all-time at UW, passing Aziz N'Diyae (113) ... he is now 20 behind fifth place (137, Malik Dime) and 69 behind the UW record of 186 (Matisse Thybulle and Christian Welp)
• Under Coach Hopkins, the Huskies' 2-3 zone defense has helped the Dawgs record the top two FG% defense marks in the last 44 years (dating back to the 76-77 season) holding teams to 38.1% (2019-20) and 41.6% (2018-19)
