The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its preseason rankings Wednesday morning and partners Tim Ruehl and Andrea Bolla earned the No. 14 doubles spot. The pair is one of just four Pac-12 pairings to rank in the top-15.

Bolla and Ruehl went just 4-3 in the shortened 2020 season, but they earned a 12-2 record in a  2019 season that featured the No. 22 tandem taking down No. 26 Bertus Kruger/Reese Stalder from TCU and No. 31 Paul Barretto/Can Kaya from California. Their season peaked in the ITA Fall National Championship quarterfinals.

Head coach Matt Hill's squad returns eight players from last year's roster and has since bolstered its ranks with the additions of No, 61 junior bluechip Max McKennon, Spencer Brachman (12 UTR, No. 299 ITF junior rank), and Moritz Hoffmann (13 UTR). The 2021 schedule will soon be released.
