Cal Women’s Gymnastics Announces 2021 Schedule

SAN FRANCISCO – The No. 8 California women's gymnastics team will compete against some of the nation's best in 2021 as they are scheduled for eight meets, primarily against Pac-12 opposition.  
The Bears will open the season with their lone non-conference meet as they host Air Force on Saturday, January 30. After that, the Bears will compete in a seven dual meets against Pac-12 opponents, all of whom were ranked in the top 31 of the WGCA Preseason Poll.
The complete week-by-week schedule shell as well as start times and dual meets selected for broadcast by Pac-12 Networks through Feb. 28 are listed; remaining start times and broadcasts through the end of the regular season will be announced in the coming weeks. All match dates, times and broadcasts are subject to change.
The Bears are currently scheduled to be on Pac-12 Network for two of their conference matchups. The February 21 meet at No. 13 Oregon State will be televised regionally on Pac-12 Bay Area and Pac-12 Oregon. The dual between No. 4 Utah and No. 8 Cal will be broadcast on Pac-12 network at 7 p.m. on February 26. All of Cal's March contests have the opportunity to be selected for television in the coming weeks.
Cal will open the season with a road-heavy Pac-12 slate as four of the first five dual meets are on the road. Cal will open the conference schedule on February 6 vs. Arizona. Followed by the contests vs. Oregon State and Utah. The final road dual of the year will come in the Big Meet as the Bears travel to Stanford for a mid-week contest on March 3.
In addition to the season opener vs. Air Force, the Bears will host No. 21 Arizona State (Feb. 14), No. 7 UCLA (March 6) and No. 19 Washington (March 14).
California returns an exciting group of student-athletes for the 2021 season as they feature the past two Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in Milan Clausi (2019) and Nevaeh DeSouza (2020). Additionally, 2020 All-Americans Kyana George (All-Around) and Maya Bordas (All-Around, Uneven Bars) return in 2021. In 2020, Cal had a school-record eight All-Pac-12 honors from five different gymnasts, all of whom will return for the 2021 season.
All women's gymnastics competitions will be conducted in accordance with the Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee health and safety recommendations and guidelines, available at

Due to local health guidelines, fans are not allowed inside Haas Pavilion for the meets. However, fans can be present to cheer on the Bears by purchasing a cardboard cutout HERE.
