UCLA Voted No. 2 in Preseason Pac-12 Coaches Poll

UCLA ranks No. 2 in the Pac-12's preseason coaches poll

UCLA has been selected by the Pac-12 gymnastics head coaches as the preseason No. 2 team in the conference.

The Bruins, who have won the last two Pac-12 Championships (2019, 2018) received one first-place vote, finishing behind the conference favorite Utah, who had six first-place votes and a total of 47 points. UCLA totaled 40 points to edge California, who totaled 39 points, including one first-place vote. Rounding out the poll are No. 4 Oregon State (32), No. 5 Washington (21), No. 6 Arizona State (20), No. 7 Arizona (17) and No. 8 Stanford (7).

UCLA was voted No. 7 in the national preseason coaches poll by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA).

The Bruins will open the season on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 2pm against Arizona State. The Sun Devils are 1-1 in 2021 and ranked No. 15 in the nation.
