Pac-12 Men's Soccer sees six selections in 2021 MLS SuperDraft

SAN FRANCISCO — A total of six Pac-12 men’s soccer stars heard their names called in Thursday’s 2021 Major League Soccer SuperDraft.

Five of the Pac-12's six men's soccer programs had selections on Thursday, headlined by a pair of WASHINGTON defenders taken in the First Round. 2019 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year Ethan Bartlow was the No. 6 overall pick of the Houston Dynamo, while backline teammate Freddy Kleemann went No. 11 overall to expansion Austin FC.

CALIFORNIA striker and 2019 Pac-12 Second Team selection Tommy Williamson followed right behind Kleemann at No. 12, staying in the Bay Area with the San Jose Earthquakes.

The Second Round featured STANFORD midfielder and 2019 Pac-12 Second Team honoree Logan Panchot to D.C. United, OREGON STATE's Pac-12 First Team defender Joe Hafferty to Inter Miami CF, and UCLA midfielder Eric Iloski to Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
