Coach White on the Season-Opening Tournament - "College golf is back, and we're excited to compete again. We've got four out of the five guys that have played the golf course before, so that's a major plus. They can help talk through things and know where to hit it, so we'll be fully prepared come Monday morning. We're just going to take it one round at a time and continue to focus on the what we can control."

Last Time Out – When the Cougars tee-off at the Arizona Intercollegiate this Monday, it will be Washington State's first golf tournament in exactly 321 days after last season was canceled in the early spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nicklaus Chiam shot 4-under 67 to lead the charge for the Cougars in the tournament's third round, as he ended the tournament in a tie for 12th at 213 (E).
