Spring Slate Set For Soccer

Jan 25, 2021

BOULDER – The long wait for the Colorado soccer season is nearing a close. The Pac-12 Conference announced a 12-match, single-round robin league schedule on Monday.

The schedule reflects a 12-match slate between Pac-12 programs set to begin Feb. 26 - a single-round robin of 11 matches which will count toward the final Pac-12 standings plus an additional non-league rivalry matchup to be played the weekend of March 19 and 20.

Additionally, Colorado announced a four-match non-conference schedule that features mostly regional opponents. The Buffaloes will open the season on Feb. 6 against long-time rival Denver. Northern Colorado will head to Boulder for a rematch of the first round of last season's NCAA Tournament on Feb. 13. CU and Weber State will faceoff for the first time in program history on Feb. 20.

CU hits the road for the next four matches. The Buffs will travel to Washington to open Pac-12 play on Feb. 26. The team will stay in Seattle and play the Huskies in a non-conference matchup on Feb. 28. Colorado will then travel to California (Mar. 5) and Stanford (Mar. 7) to close out the trip.

The Buffs' first home Pac-12 match will come against UCLA on Mar. 12. Southern California comes to town the following Sunday (Mar. 14).

Colorado, as part of the Pac-12's Rivalry Week, will make a quick trip to Salt Lake City for a non-conference bout with Utah (Mar. 19).

Colorado's remaining home matches include Washington State (Mar. 27), Arizona (Apr. 9), Arizona State (Apr. 11) and Utah (Apr. 16).

At this point in time, fans will not be permitted at any of the home matches. All home games will be live streamed unless they get picked up by the Pac-12 Network. No TV info has been announced yet.

All women's soccer competitions will be conducted in accordance with the Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee health and safety recommendations and guidelines, available at Pac-12.com/health.
