UCLA Men's Golf Announces 2020-2021 Schedule

Head men's golf coach Derek Freeman has announced the 2020-2021 UCLA schedule, which will feature eight regular-season tournaments, the Pac-12 Championship, NCAA Regionals and the NCAA Championship.

The season gets underway Feb. 15-17 at The Prestige, which will be played in La Quinta, Calif. at the PGA WEST Norman Course. Following that tournament, the Bruins will stay in the desert, take a day off, and take part in the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (Feb. 19-21) at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif.

UCLA's first March event will be at the San Diego Country Club at the Lamkin San Diego Classic (March 8-10). The Bruins will travel out of California for the first time to start a two tournaments in six days stretch, beginning with the Duck Invitational (March 22-23) at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore. After a day off from competition, UCLA will play in The Goodwin (March 25-27) at the Stanford Golf Course.

The Bruins will ping pong between Arizona and California for the remainder of the regular season. UCLA opens up April at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic (April 5-6), which will be played at the Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz. The Bruins then play at the Western Intercollegiate (April 12-14) at the Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz, Calif. before ending their regular season at the Thunderbird Collegiate (April 16-17) at the Papago Golf Course in Phoenix.

The Pac-12 Championship will be played April 26-28 at the Mayacama Golf Club in Santa Rosa, Calif. NCAA Regionals will be played May 16-19 at six different venues in Tallahassee, Fla., Noblesville, Ind., Albuquerque, N.M., Stillwater, Okla., Nashville, Tenn. and Cle Elum, Wash., with a berth to the NCAA Championship on the line, which will be played May 28-June 2 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
