Pac-12 releases Conference schedule for upcoming baseball season
SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 Conference has announced weekly series and site designations for the league’s 2021 baseball schedule.
The schedule reflects 30 league games for each program - 10 three-game series spanning 11 weeks from March 19 through May 29. Pac-12 programs will also be permitted non-conference competitions beginning Feb. 19 and up to the traditional NCAA maximum of 56 total contests.
The announcement reflects the series being played and the home/away designations each weekend of the Pac-12 regular season; start times will be announced by schools, and all game dates and times are subject to change. Television details will be announced in the coming weeks.
UCLA (No. 4) and ARIZONA STATE (No. 10) concluded the canceled 2020 campaign in the top 10 of the final USA Today Coaches Poll; the Bruins (No. 3), Sun Devils (No. 15) and ARIZONA (No. 10) appear in the published Collegiate Baseball preseason national poll for 2021.
UCLA won the most recent Pac-12 regular-season title in 2019, earning the national No. 1 seed to headline five NCAA Tournament participants (No. 11 seed STANFORD, No. 16 seed OREGON STATE, ARIZONA STATE, CALIFORNIA).
All baseball competitions will be conducted in accordance with the Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee health and safety recommendations and guidelines, available at Pac-12.com/health.
