Jeff Rudy Promoted to Associate A.D. for Football Administration

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jeff Rudy has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director for Football Administration, Athletics Director Mark Harlan announced today. Rudy has served as Utah's Director of Football Operations for the past 15 years, and has been part of the Utah Football program since 2005.
 
In his new role, Rudy will serve in the senior administrative team of Utah Athletics for the management and operations of the Utah Football program.
 
As Director of Football Operations Rudy has been involved in virtually every aspect of the football program that occurs outside the sidelines, working closely with Head Coach Kyle Whittingham on day-to-day logistics, budget management, recruiting, team travel, camps and clinics, marketing and public relations, special functions and administrative projects.
 
Rudy was the point person in the football program for the planning and construction of the Spence & Cleone Eccles Football Center, which opened in 2013, and has played an integral role with respect to the football areas in the Ken Garff Performance Zone at Rice-Eccles Stadium, scheduled to open in the summer of 2021.

A graduate of Southern Utah University with a bachelor's degree in physical education, Rudy attended Azusa Pacific University for the master's of administration of physical education degree. He and his wife Brandie have a son, Dalton, and two daughters, Peyton and Kayton.
