SEATTLE - Washington Volleyball is back home this week looking to build on its early season three-match win streak with a pair of matchups against Oregon State. The Huskies (3-1) and Beavers (1-3) will get things started this Thursday, Feb. 4, at 6 p.m. and then run it back again on Saturday, Feb. 6, starting at 3 p.m. Both matches will stream live for free on GoHuskies.com.

The 11th-ranked Huskies (3-1) pulled out a five set nailbiter in its last match to get out of Arizona with two big road wins. Senior opposite Samantha Drechsel was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday coming off her career-high 24 kills in the second Tucson victory. Junior Ella May Powell also had a career-high 55 assists in that match and helped the Huskies hit .324 as a team, their best mark of the season to date.

Through the first two weekends of the season, the Huskies are third in the Pac-12 with a .268 attack percentage, and third with 13.60 kills per set. Drechsel ranks fourth with 4.07 kills per set while Lauren Sanders is fourth with a .413 attack percentage. Ella May Powell leads the Pac-12 thus far with 10.60 assists per set.

After dropping two matches against Colorado in the first week, the Beavers got a big win over USC last weekend before the Trojans came back to win the rematch, putting OSU at 1-3. Oregon State is led by seniors Maddie Goings and Grace Massey. Goings has 1,056 career kills and Massey has 1,578 career digs, third in OSU history. The Beavers also have several freshman starters, including setter Izzi Szulczewski and OH Kateryna Tkachenko, who led the win over USC with 15 kills. The Huskies have won the past three in a row in the series, since OSU snapped a long losing streak to UW with two wins in 2017.
