MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Daniel Cukierman, Sr., USC (Tel Aviv, Israel)

  • The Trojan senior had a three-set comeback to clinch USC's win against No. 18 UCLA in last weekend’s ITA Kickoff.
  • USC’s top-ranked doubles team, Cukierman and Riley Smith, took down UCLA’s Sam Feit and Keegan Smith with a 6-3 win.
  • Cukierman shrugged off his first set loss to No. 10 Keegan Smith and surrendered only three to pin up a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 victory that sealed the Trojans' win over the Bruins with a 4-1 score on the board.
  • Helped the Trojans to a 7-0 sweep against Loyola Marymount this past weekend with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over LMU’s Diego Nava at the top slot.

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Elysia Bolton, Jr., UCLA (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.)

  • Helped the Bruins cruise through their ITA Kickoff weekend regional with a pair of 4-0 victories over No. 19 California and Texas A&M, advancing the Bruins to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship this upcoming weekend.
  • Provided the deciding point on court 2 in the victory over the Aggies, defeating Jayci Goldsmith 6-2, 6-3.
  • Teamed with partner Jada Hart to knock off Goldsmith and Tatiana Makarova, 6-2, to secure the doubles point for the Bruins against the Aggies.
  • Is 4-0 in singles and doubles to start the season following wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles in a sweep of the Golden Bears.
